From our pre-event exhibition at the Design Festa Gallery in Harajuku to the bustling, vibrant halls of Design Festa vol. 63, the journey of Yuniverso Squishy has been nothing short of magical.
We want to extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who stopped by Booth H-440. Seeing you interact with our pieces, watching your surprise, and witnessing the smiles that followed—that was the moment our art truly came alive.
Crafting a Tactile Dream
At Yuniverso, we believe in "Tactile Art"—high-end, minimalist designs that exist not just to be looked at, but to be held, squeezed, and experienced.
Preparing for the Japanese market was a journey of immense care. From selecting recyclable materials to designing reusable packaging that aligns with our sustainability goals, every detail was crafted with purpose. We wanted to bring an aesthetic that felt both luxurious and deeply comforting.

The most beautiful realization during Design Festa was that softness is a universal language. Words were often unnecessary; the moment your fingertips pressed into our squishies, the connection was made.
It was incredibly rewarding to see how our specific collections resonated with the Tokyo crowd. Our Showa Cream Soda series brought a wave of nostalgic joy, perfectly echoing the retro aesthetics of the local culture. We were also thrilled to see the love for our Pocket Gallery series. We have always envisioned these pieces as true, collectible art objects rather than simple charms, and seeing you appreciate them as miniature masterpieces meant the world to us.
